I have enough figures to know which maker are amazing and which aren't so great .And one of my favorites and least favorites at the same time is griffon. Why? Cause for the most part they come out with different designs in their figures , They are usually a bit sexy but still reserved . But then comes some problems. For one, most of the time they are 1/8 scaled ...which are tiny :-( . Two for a 1\8 scale they want to charge 75$-90$ . That's insane ,for that price you can get 1\6 scale of other figures or wait till its pre-owned to drop in price. Third and most important : quality. The quality of the figures range from excellent to absolutely unacceptable. And you never know with them what you are gonna get .I hope they get better as they release more figures But for now,my grade for griffon is :
B-
Pros - awesome figure design Cons - unstable quality ,price

I only have a couple figures from Griffin, but haven't really been able to examine them to know whether they did well or not on that particular figure. However I have heard so many bad things on them and so many people hesitant to order a figure they think has an excellent design, but one no one has seen in person yet. I am shocked at their prices version the complexity of their figures and the quality.

I'm pretty wary when it comes to even consider buying griffon figures, I have not bought one because there's always one thing about the design I don't like when I'm viewing a figure of theirs. For example their new kuroneko figure, what the hell is she doing in the pose its pretty awkward to me. Plus dem prices. One complaint I see a lot is their faces as well.

I've had and seen from others about terrible experiences with Griffon's figures.
They're QC is just unbelievably bad and their scale for figures are completely off. 1/8 = 1/10. 1/7 = 1/8 Vice Versa.
They use this hideous black base for every single figure. They then slap a metal name plate to the corresponding respective anime. (Monster Hunter Sena got an unnecessarily large Frisbee as a base...)
The worst part is that they are one of the few that charges a ridiculously large amount of royalties (Basically Money) for their figures.
Believe me, their designs, concept arts are on point; however, what is the point in that if you release a crummy mass produced product that is no where close (actually worse) than the pre-production figure.
I give Griffon a 3/10. I would avoid them at all costs and only buy their figures aftermarket. Why? You save more money as most of their figures drop in price after market. People who were oblivious to what figures Griffon produces can actually see if they got a good Griffon production line (This way you know which Griffon figures are good...)

I have the Yozora MH.ver....Its pretty good, only thing that annoying, for me at least is how easily the hand part holding the bow comes out. I falls out pretty easily, the slightest jolt makes it out come out.
