Surprising things about Japan

I learned this from a WAO Ryu video on cosplay- you can't arrive at cosplay events in cosplay. It isn't proper.
It seems like being an anime/manga otaku in Japan doesn't mean you can flaunt it freely

That explains why in Genshiken while the group waits in line for the con no one is dressed up until they are inside! We learn something new everyday
