We all have faced an anime for which we really want a next season. It can either be because the ending was open or simply because we loved that series so much that we want a continuation. For me the anime in that category would be (without a specific order) : - Hidan no Aria (the ending had more holes than Diglett's Cave. So many things were unanswered and I would love to see a sort of continuation, even if it will probably never happen)
- Sword Art Online
- Kore wa Zombie desu ka?
- Sakurasou no Pet na kanojo
- Black Butler
- To Love-Ru
- Kiss x Sis
- Senran Kagura
- Nyaruko-san
- Sora no Otoshimono
- Date A Live
- Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai
- Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu
- TWGOK
- HighSchool DxD
- Shakugan no Shana (not exactly a new season, but more like 1) a sequel to show us how the various characters live, changed and developped. Both the ones in Xanadu and the ones on Earth and if Hecate and Sydonay really did get resurected by the Snake of the Festival. 2) a prequel to show us what happened before the "Shana Era", like the First Great War, the Revolution War, the creation of Flame Haze, the previous Crimson Denizen organization : Totten Glocke etc.)

I want to see Date a Live continue as well. I felt it was too short.
As for sword art online I have mixed feelings. The whole draw of the show was getting trap inside a digital world. I think that could have been thickened out and had more story to it while they were in the first game. The second still had that I'm trapped but then ended again like oh nothing could go wrong to these people who faced death in a video game. Don't get me wrong I really like sword art online and would love to see more of that kinda thing. I'm just not sure how much further they can go with it.

I haven't read it, but the light novel of SAO has progressed a lot with more than 2 other arcs. So, I guess that it will have a continuation, since it was so popular.

Reason why sword art online was made like tht is because they weren't guaranteed a second season and thought they would most likely not. So they put all they can in just 25 episodes. I know what u mean and I feel a bit of the same way until I realized tht tht had to do it like tht.
