I'm sure at some point we all have thought of one or more generic feature that all video games should have or well most of them. I'm not talking about someone thinking that Uncharted should have dinosaurs or that DDR should have your favorite songs. I'm talking about a more broader feature that more games should add.
For me personally I wish games had a way of knowing if you hadn't played it in a while while you in mid game. Sure if you beat the game and decided to do another play through 6 months later then you would get the same learning curve in case you forgot what button was run or how to battle in a certain game or more importantly what exactly you were doing. But if I'm starting in the middle of a game sometimes I will forget what I was doing or how to attack and wish there was a recap, optional of course, that I could choose to remember just what I was doing. I'm sure some games have something along these lines, but I think it should be more wide spread.

Sometimes you put it down when something else distracts you, you come back, and you totally forgot most of what you've done and what you were planning to do. I've restarted games because of this lol.

I wish for more games, primarily multiplayer ones, to be able to play cross platform. Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is crossed between pc and ps3 and it works great! I have the ps3 version. I hope this comes to be with the new console era.

Portal 2 does this as well. It's nice that it also came with a copy for the PC when you bought the PS3 copy. Which is another thing that would be nice if more games had. I do like it when a PS3 game has a download for the Vita. Just more places to play your games without having to buy a copy for each platform.

Ah yes Portal 2, I actually did get it on ps3 and then downloaded off steam. Cross buy is another great idea, I hope Playstation does it more often. I have Sound shapes, Hotline Miami, and ps1 classics that I can play between both and it's great

I know I'm going to get a lot of people hating on me for this but I wish there was a full dive system like from SAO it would be so much fun and I would rule and be better then playing it with a controller

At this point I wonder if Virtual Reality will ever become a thing in my life time.
