What's up guys? As the title says, my name is Carson. I'm a 17 year old from New Brunswick, Canada who enjoys watching anime and playing video games. I only started watching anime as of early 2012 because I felt I needed more things to spend my time doing while procrastinating school work. The first anime I watched, recommended to me by a friend, was Deathnote, and after the first 3 episodes of that, I was hooked on anime. Currently I have watched around 9 full series, Code Geass being my current favourite, and I am in the midst of watching 3 (Clannad, Steins; Gate, and Naruto). As for video games, I mainly play Trouble in Terrorist town, a gamemode on Garry's Mod. I admin on the server and forums of Garry's Community, the once #1 TTT server. If you have any questions for me, ask in the comments

Of the two I'm leaning more toward the Japanese version only because the voices seemed to fit their characters more.

Sometimes I was able to buy it myself if I went to Walmart, where no one cared.

Normally I prefer which ever I watch first. So if you are used to the English dub the Japanese version will be very different. I remember when I watched Fairy Tail in the English dub for the first time and was completely freaked out. XD

May I join the conversation, I've watched CG and loved it I watched it subbed I usually watch every anime in subbed I absolutely hate dubbed for some reason because the voice's does not match up to the mouth's animation I was sad at the end of it because I sometimes cheered for the bad guys you just wanted lelouch to be the king forever.

It definitely portrays the characters better based on their personalities. For example: Amano is a wimpy kid, but in the dub version they give him a developed voice which doesn't fit the character, imo.

The originals tend to be better and like Sleep was saying that it won't have the issue that the dub would with the voices not following the characters mouth. It's a little funny actually xD

I agree that some of the dubbed versions are unlikable --unwatchable-- because of the mouth not being in sync with the voice, but I must also add that some of the voice actors in the dubbed versions are really damn good. Like Naruto, I cannot imagine myself ever watching it in the original version because it's done well, and I've grown onto watching the dubbed. But that brings us back to the point of it's all based on which you watch first as I am sure that there are many that prefer the subbed over dubbed. It's all about preference.

There some series I watched in dubbed for example Deathnote was a good dubbed version same with Darker than black and hellsing those are the ones I watched in dubbed and I did like those in dubbed because they were in sync however I prefer most anime in subbed.
